The good: Nice photos for the money; easy operation; simple, attractive design; optical image stabilization.

The bad: Mixed performance; photo quality dips above ISO 200; only a three-shot burst.

The good: Excellent design; 7x optical zoom in a compact body; ISO range limiter; good photo quality up to ISO 400.

The bottom line: The Nikon Coolpix S630 puts a little extra zoom in your pocket, but you might not find the high-resolution photos it shoots out pleasurable. read more....

Digital Rebel XSi 12.2 MP Digital SLR Camera

CNET.com Review:

The good: Excellent photo quality for its class; better-than-average speed.

The bad: Maximum ISO 1600; huge spot-for-spot metering.

The bottom line: It doesn't stand out for its feature set or design, but the Canon EOS Rebel XSi delivers on performance and photo quality. read more....

Walkman 8GB Video MP3 Player

cnet.com Review:

The good: The Sony E-Series Walkman is very competitively priced and features a compact design with a nice, bright screen. It's easy to use and offers a variety of desirable extras, such as an FM tuner, a user-customizable EQ, and support for Rhapsody To Go and Amazon Video On Demand. Rated battery life is superb and sound quality is great.

The bad: The Sony E-Series Walkman tops out at 8GB and doesn't offer memory expansion. There's no integrated podcast support, and subscription-content syncing is slow.

The bottom line: The Sony E-Series Walkman is a great value. It's an excellent option for anyone looking for an easy-to-use MP3 player with a pocketable design, a long battery life, handy features, and solid sound quality. ...see more

KX-TG6700B 5.8 Ghz Cordless Phone Two-line Expandable Phone System

howstuffworks.com Review:

Expandable up to 8 handsets total, the KX-TG6700B is a reliable cordless system for large homes and small offices. One handset is included with the system, and although only two lines are supported, the system has more-than-ample message space on its 60-minute digital answering machine. Unfortunately, however, messages cannot be diverted to separate mailboxes. Phone numbers can be dialed form the 50-contact telephone directory, or calls can be made from the 50-entry caller ID log. The handset is also equipped with a built-in speakerphone.

Call clarity and range for the handsets are good, and because the 5.8GHz frequency is utilized, one doesn't need to worry about interference with Wi-Fi networks. Meanwhile, due to the Ni-MH battery, one also needn't be concerned about memory effect when recharging. Other features include: 3-way conferencing, remote message retrieval, page, and message waiting indicators on the handsets' antennae.

Pros: Expandable, good range and clarity
Cons: Only one mailbox

SPX12 12-Inch Digital Frame

cnet.com Review:

The good: Attractive real-wood frame; nice-looking display; motion sensor automatically turns frame on and off.

The bad: Slow downloads; most transition effects do not operate smoothly; very small remote control; only a 90-day warranty.

The bottom line: In spite of some performance issues, the Smartparts SPX12 is a good-looking digital picture frame that for the most part lives up to its claim of making it easy to transfer photos from a memory card to the frame with almost no effort. ...read more

PSW125 12-Inch Powered Subwoofer

howstuffworks.com Review:

The Polk Audio PSW125 subwoofer is a good value if you are looking to beef up your home theater's low end. Readily available at major retailers throughout the United States, the PSW125 adds extra punch to your music and seat-shaking rumble to your movies.

The PSW125's cabinet encloses a 12-inch Dynamic Balance composite woofer in a downward-firing position. The vented cabinet has a round, non-removable black steel grill surrounded by a subtle graphite-colored ring. This makes for a somewhat industrial or pro-audio style that might not appeal to everyone, but with this design, there won't be any little hands damaging the speaker cone. The PSW125 weighs in at just over 40 pounds and is available in cherry and black veneer finishes.
